General Dynamics Land Systems - Australia has played a crucial role in the upgrade and sustainment of the ASLAV over the last decade by establishing and maintaining a local supply chain and operating as the principle Australian supplier for the final assembly and upgrades of the ASLAV.

In-country support capabilities are offered to the ASLAV fleet through repair and overhaul work, supply and engineering support, heavy grade repair of battle damage vehicles, LAV-25mm turret maintenance, technical support and field support to the Army at Darwin and Brisbane.

General Dynamics Land Systems - Australia has the ability to provide the Australian Commonwealth with a complete range of support services due to our unrivalled knowledge of the ASLAV and M1A1 tanks.  This is attained through our global reach and our experience, which is highly relevant to the support of these vehicles in many diverse operational requirements.  We have utilised this experience and adapted to the Australian environment, with intra-company reach back support as required.
